On 23 June 2026, the Education Bureau (EDB), together with the Hong Kong Jockey Club Financial Education Programme (HKJCFEP) and The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK), hosted an online teacher training workshop. The event drew around 75 primary teachers from across Hong Kong.
The workshop functioned as a dedicated teacher training session, combining foundational financial knowledge with pedagogical guidance. It provided an overview of the HKJCFEP and its curriculum, which is aligned with Strand III (Financial Management and Economy) of the Primary Humanities Curriculum. It also featured lesson demonstrations and school experience sharing, followed by a Q&A session. Throughout the workshop, participants explored practical approaches to integrating financial and values education into their classrooms and fostering collaboration among schools. |
