On April 12, 2025, The Education University of Hong Kong hosted a Community of Practice (CoP) Workshop for "The Hong Kong Jockey Club Financial Education Programme." The event brought together 26 teachers from 16 primary schools, and 13 final-year education students from EdUHK.
A highlight was a presentation by Mr. Bruno Lee, a seasoned financial professional with over 30 years of experience in the wealth management sector. In his session, titled “Learning Finance through Stories: The First Step to Financial Freedom,” Mr. Lee shared insightful tips and engaging personal anecdotes that resonated deeply with the audience. Moreover, two primary school teachers illustrate their teaching experience and demonstration lessons focused on three key topics: Smart Spending, Payment Methods, and Protection and Risk in financial education.
The workshop fostered an environment rich in learning, collaboration, and inspiration for both current educators and future teaching professionals.
