Prof. Kyung-sung Kim is Dean of Academic Affairs and Professor of Education at Seoul National University of Education. His major is educational measurement and evaluation. He got a B.A. from Korea University in Seoul, Korea, and received a MA and a PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles.

His major interest is rebuilding the Korean evaluation system. He has served as a major consultant for College Entrance Examination Board of the Korean Institute of Curriculum and Evaluation, and he organized a national achievement test for elementary and middle schools in 2008. By the request of the Ministry of Education, an internet based testing (iBT) system of school evaluation was made for the government.
