Provision of Documents for Registration

Before programme registration, you are required to submit two types of documents:
- Document(s) certifying your personal information (e.g. Mainland ID, EEP (港澳通行證), HKID, student visa/entry entry permit, IANG visa, dependant visa/entry permit (whichever applicable)); and
- Official documents certifying your attainment of the required qualifications. For details, please refer to Provision of Documents Upon Offer Acceptance.

Making, submitting or using any false instrument (including forged documents) are serious criminal offences under the Crimes Ordinance (Cap. 200 of the laws of Hong Kong). A person committing the offences relating to forgery or false instruments is liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment. The University shall consider the relevant evidence and report suspicious cases to the Hong Kong Police. The University reserves the right to take appropriate legal actions against persons who make, forge or use a false instrument for admission and any other academic purposes before, during and after the admission process.

Student Visa

Global Affairs Office will send you the visa/entry permit label once available. Upon arrival in Hong Kong, please activate your student visa, and then you will receive a landing slip. Without the landing slip, you will NOT be able to register with The Education University of Hong Kong. Please contact our Global Affairs Office by email (stuvisa@eduhk.hk) for the application progress or issuance of visa.

To complete the registration procedures, you are required to activate your student visa and upload your e-Visa, landing slip, and travel documents to the Visa Management System for Admissions (VMS for Admissions) (https://pappl.eduhk.hk/VMS/admission/) at least one week^* before the programme commencement and pass the validation. Please refer to the guidelines in the video. For enquiries, please contact us according to the email addresses as listed on the login page of the VMS for Admissions.

The University will void your admission offer if you fail to upload the required documents and pass the validation by the stipulated deadline. Please note that all fees paid will not be refunded.

Other Useful Information

Student Email Account
After we have performed programme registration, you will receive an email containing your student number. Please follow the guidelines “New Students Information Sheet on IT Services” to gain access to your EdUHK student email account via https://webmail.eduhk.hk as soon as possible. If you experience any technical difficulties, please contact our IT Help Desk via email helpdesk@ocio.eduhk.hk. Anti-Scam Quiz
As you may have received a previous notification regarding the mandatory Anti-Scam Quiz, it is necessary to complete the Quiz before proceeding with the photo upload for the Student EdU Card production process. If you have not yet completed the Quiz, please visit the Anti-Scam Quiz site using the link below.
- Stage 1: EdUHK Anti-Scam Quiz (please login with your Application Number as the user name and your registered email address as the password)
  Newly admitted non-local students are required to complete the Quiz with a passing rate of 85% before proceeding to upload photo for student card production.
- Stage 2: Hong Kong Police Force Anti-Scam Quiz (please login with your student login account)
  Newly admitted students are required to complete the Quiz with a passing rate of 85%. Otherwise, your student card will be withheld, and therefore you will not be able to access the library and other on-campus facilities.

Collection of Student EdU Card
You are required to upload your photo for production of Student EdU Card. Notification will be delivered to your registered email address once your EdU card is ready for collection. Credit Transfer
You can submit your application for credit transfer after you have completed the registration.
