Provision of Documents for Registration

Before programme registration, you are required to submit two types of documents:
- Document(s) certifying your personal information (e.g. HKID / Mainland ID and EEP (港澳通行證) / Passport, etc); and
- Official documents certifying your attainment of the required qualifications.

Making, submitting or using any false instrument (including forged documents) are serious criminal offences under the Crimes Ordinance (Cap. 200 of the laws of Hong Kong). A person committing the offences relating to forgery or false instruments is liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment. The University shall consider the relevant evidence and report suspicious cases to the Hong Kong Police. The University reserves the right to take appropriate legal actions against persons who make, forge or use a false instrument for admission and any other academic purposes before, during and after the admission process.

Documents for Submission

Please apply for official transcripts, language test reports, and other supporting documents to be sent directly to the University from the issuing universities / authorities for verification.

Officially certified true copies issued by:
- a notary public (e.g. the Home Affairs Enquiry Centre in Hong Kong by Declaration(香港民政諮詢中心「宣誓」)); or
- a notary offcie in Mainland China (中華人民共和國公證處); or
- The principal of your serving school in Hong Kong (The documents should be offiically signed and stamped)
Official documents (e.g. transcripts, statement of results, etc) issued by your home educational institution(s):
- hardcopy directly sent to EdUHK; or
- electronic transcript directly sent by the issuing university to EdUHK's email account: tpgadmission@eduhk.hk
Please do NOT send any original graduation certificate(s) to the University in any circumstances as we will not be responsible for any documents mislaid. All documents will normally not be returned.

Failing to provide the above documents may result in your unsuccessful enrolment in the programme. If documents provided are found to be falsified, unclear, misleading or inconsistent with the qualifications stated in your application, or do not fulfill the requirements for admission, your admission offer may be revoked and all paid fees will not be refunded. The University reserves the right to request you to present the original documents in person at a later stage.

To expedite our registration process, please ensure to include programme title and Application Number on the envelope before sending it by post / courier. See the example below:

Other Useful Information

EdU Student Email Account
After we have performed programme registration, you will receive an email containing your student number. Please follow the guidelines “New Students Information Sheet on IT Services” to gain access to your EdUHK student email account via https://webmail.eduhk.hk as soon as possible. If you experience any technical difficulties, please contact our IT Help Desk via email helpdesk@ocio.eduhk.hk. Anti-Scam Quiz
It is necessary to complete the “Hong Kong Police Force Anti-Scam Quiz” after activating your EdUHK student account. If you have not yet completed the quiz, please visit the Anti-Scam Quiz site using the link below.
- Hong Kong Police Force Anti-Scam Quiz (please login with your student login account)
  Newly admitted students are required to complete the Quiz with a passing rate of 85%. Otherwise, your student card will be withheld, and therefore you will not be able to access the library and other on-campus facilities.

Collection of Student EdU Card
You are required to upload your photo for production of Student EdU Card. Notification will be delivered to your registered email address once your EdU card is ready for collection. Credit Transfer
You can submit your application for credit transfer after you have completed the registration.
