The Summer School for PE teachers 2007, featuring the theme "Catering Learner Diversity" initiated by the Education and Manpower Bureau, will be organized by the PE Division, Department of Creative Arts and Physical Education, the Hong Kong Institute of Education. The project focuses on developing awareness of good and innovative practices in PE curriculum and pedagogy especially Catering learners' diversity in local schools. The programmes include:

1. A half-day Conference titled "Catering Learner Diversity" wil be scheduled on Friday afternoon, 8 June 2007 at Shatin City Hall.
2. A full-day School-based Experience Sharing Seminar aiming at sharing with PE teachers good and innovative curricular and pedagogical practices will be held on Saturday, 9 June 2007 at the Tai Po Main Campus, the Hong Kong Institute of Education.
3. 15 2- and 4-day workshops focusing on further enhancing PE teachers’ pedagogical competence in promoting a variety of PE content in schools will be organized at the end of July 2007.
