Ms Xie received her master’s degree and bachelor’s degree in Educational Technology from South China Normal University. Prior to joining EdUHK, she taught ICT, as well as interdisciplinary and innovative courses in Macao. Her expertise lies in STEM education, collaborative learning and robotics. She has achieved quite a few accomplishments in her field, including winning two highest prizes in Macao's Instructional Design Competition for her "Smart City" programme and being awarded as an "Excellent Supervisor" in an AI-related Competition. Ms Xie has authored and published a school-based STEM textbook and has also contributed to other compelling books. Additionally, she served as a committee member of the Teachers Forum in the 24th Global Chinese Conference on Computers in Education.
