Congratulation: EdUHK Garners 11 Awards at SVIIF 2026, Showcasing Knowledge Transfer Excellence
From Hong Kong to Silicon Valley, EdUHK brought eight pioneering inventions to the Silicon Valley International Invention Festival (SVIIF) 2026, earning a record-breaking 11 awards (3 Special Awards; 5 Gold Medals; 3 Silver Medals), demonstrating the University's commitment to innovation and knowledge transfer on the global stage.
The participating projects, contributed by researchers from MIT, SES, SSPS, SEC, and ISNIE, addressed challenges in artificial intelligence (AI), educational technology, healthcare, environmental sustainability and wireless communications.
The EdUHK delegation, led by KTO, showcased the University's innovations to an international audience. The diverse range of inventions highlights EdUHK's strength in interdisciplinary research and its commitment to translating research outcomes into practical solutions with societal impact.
