Event Highlights: Inspiring Future Talent through the SEED Foundation Workplace Experience Program
The Department of Mathematics and Information Technology is proud to support the SEED Foundation Workplace Experience Program (WXP), which provides secondary school students with valuable opportunities to gain first-hand exposure to professional and university workplaces. During the programme, Dr Haoran Cheung, Dr Davy Ng, and Ms Elly Heung served as mentors, guiding students through workplace experiences, sharing insights into emerging technologies and education, and helping them explore future study and career pathways. Through mentorship, job shadowing, and career conversations, students developed a deeper understanding of the skills and mindsets needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world. The programme concluded with a graduation ceremony celebrating students’ learning journey and achievements.
