Event Highlights: EdUHK Faculty Info Day 2026
On 23 May 2026, the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology (MIT) actively participated in the EdUHK Faculty Info Day 2026, delivering a wide range of engaging learning activities for prospective students.
Participants were welcomed at the Information Counter for the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology Programmes, where they explored programme details and study opportunities. The Programme Introduction sessions, led by Dr Cheng Kell Hiu Fai, provided comprehensive insights into MIT undergraduate programmes in Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Artificial Intelligence and Educational Technology and Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Primary Mathematics), Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Artificial Intelligence and Educational Technology and Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Information and Communication Technology and Primary Science) and Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Artificial Intelligence and Educational Technology.
The Taster Lecture for Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Artificial Intelligence and Educational Technology and Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Information and Communication Technology and Primary Science), conducted by Dr Singh Manpreet, offered participants a glimpse into the innovative learning environment. In addition, the AI & Robotics Showcase, cutting-edge applications in artificial intelligence and robotics.
The Mock Interview sessions were designed to simulate the admission process for the undergraduate programmes, providing participants with a valuable hands-on experience. Conducted by Dr Cheung Ho Yin Haoran, Dr Ng Tsz Kit and Miss Heung Yuk Mui Elly, including the sessions allowed students to engage in realistic interview scenarios and gain insights into programme expectations.
These activities highlighted MIT’s commitment to fostering future-ready talents and supporting students in exploring their academic pathways at EdUHK.
