Event Highlights: 3 Day Summer Programme 2026: A Journey into the Mysteries of AI and Mathematics
From 5-7 August 2026, the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology (MIT) at The Education University of Hong Kong successfully hosted its 3-Day Summer Programme for secondary school students at the Tai Po Campus.
Over three days, participants engaged in a variety of learning activities, including thematic talks, hands-on workshops, together with demonstrations of advanced technologies, offered students valuable opportunities to explore innovative applications of AI and mathematics.
The summer programme also featured undergraduate programme briefings, Q&A sessions, senior student sharing, and guided campus tours covering specialised laboratories, the University Library, and student facilities, etc.
MIT remains committed to nurturing future-ready talent and inspiring the next generation to explore the exciting possibilities at the intersection of AI, mathematics and education.
