On 13 November 2025, Dr David Chan and Dr HY Cheung led students from the Department of Mathematics and Information Technology to the AI and Robotics Exhibition at the Hong Kong Productivity Council in Kowloon Tong. The attendees included undergraduates and postgraduates from the Artificial Intelligence and Educational Technology programme, as well as related fields.

During the visit, the group explored the featured exhibition halls and attended the AI & Robotics Fest, which was part of the "GBA International Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Summit 2025." At the Low-Altitude Economy Tech Hall, participants experienced the innovative applications within the Greater Bay Area, including Meituan’s delivery drones and GOVY Air Cab’s small manned aircraft, which left a lasting impression. In the "Agentic AI and Industrial Metaverse" area, cutting-edge exhibits, including educational quantum computers, captivated attendees and broadened their understanding of technological advancements. Furthermore, the faculty and students engaged in in-depth discussions with representatives from participating enterprises at the AI & Robotics Fest, exploring the latest trends in artificial intelligence and embodied intelligence. This activity provided students with a practical, intuitive understanding of technological innovation. Looking ahead, the University plans to continue offering such immersive experiential learning opportunities to help students expand their industry knowledge and connect with emerging technologies.
