Event Highlights: Departmental Orientation for Undergraduate Students 2025/26
On 29 August 2025, our department hosted the Departmental Orientation 2025/26, welcoming newly admitted undergraduate students from the BSc(AIET)&BEd(ICT&PSci), BSc(AIET)&BEd(PM), and BSc(AIET) programmes.
This vibrant kickoff event was designed to help students gain a deeper understanding of the department’s vision, academic structure, and the exciting journey ahead. From programme overviews to interactive sessions, students were introduced to the resources, opportunities, and support systems that will shape their university experience.
A key highlight of the day was the Advisor-Advisee Meet & Greet, where Academic Advisors connected with their new Advisees in a warm and welcoming setting. These initial conversations laid the foundation for meaningful mentorship and academic guidance throughout the students’ studies.
The Orientation not only marked the beginning of a new academic chapter but also fostered a sense of belonging and community among students and the department. With curiosity sparked and connections made, we look forward to an inspiring year ahead.
