Event Highlights: Departmental Orientation for Postgraduate Students 2025/26
On 22 August 2025, our department welcomed newly admitted MA(MP) and MSc(AI&EdTech) students at the Departmental Orientation 2025/26. The programme concluded with one of its most valuable elements, the Academic Mentor Meeting.
This session lays the foundation for each student’s postgraduate journey. It offers guidance to help them define academic, career, and personal goals, create actionable plans, and track progress throughout their studies. Our teaching staff will share their research interests and highlight opportunities within the department, giving students a clear view of the expertise and resources available.
For those attending in person, the meeting provides direct interaction with mentors. It is a chance to ask questions, exchange ideas, and receive advice tailored to their needs. More than an introduction, it marks the beginning of a mentorship that will guide and inspire students throughout their time on the programme.
