On January 23, 2024, our university had the privilege of hosting a distinguished learning sciences research team led by Professors Shang Junjie from Peking University and Chen Gaowei from The University of Hong Kong. This endeavor sponsored by the Tin Ka Ping Foundation, facilitated an enriching exchange of ideas. Joining the discourse were colleagues from MIT, Dr. Song Yanjie and Dr. Sun Daner, and Professor Looi Chee-Kit and Dr. Ba Shen from the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. The panel discussion focused on the current landscape of learning sciences, STEM education, and pertinent research methodologies and topics, fostering valuable insights and scholarly exchange.
