Dr. Sun Daner Secures Key Leadership Role: Elected as Executive Committee Member of APSCE

In a recent announcement, Dr. Sun Daner has been elected as an Executive Committee Member of the Asia-Pacific Society for Computers in Education (APSCE) (2024-2027). The Executive Committee is typically a group of individuals who are appointed to oversee the strategic and operational aspects of APSCE. Dr. Sun, known for her outstanding contributions to the field, will bring her expertise and leadership to this influential committee.

In the annual conference of APSCE: The 31st International Conference on Computers in Education (ICCE 2023) (Matsue, Japan, 4-8 Dec, 2023), Dr. Sun Daner has been invited as a theme-based speaker at ICCE 2023. Her talk, titled Exploring the Evolution of Mobile Learning Environments, will shed light on pedagogical design and development in the field of educational technology and learning sciences.

In addition to her role as a theme-based speaker, As SIG chair, Dr. Sun Daner organized and chaired a panel discussion: Mobile Learning: Reflections on the Past and Visions for the Future, which involves renowned scholars from Japan, South Korea, Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore. The panel discussion provides a platform for in-depth exploration of critical issues in education technology and AI in education.

Furthermore, Dr. Sun was honored to be invited as a mentor for the Doctorate Student Consortium, showcasing her commitment to fostering the next generation of scholars in the field.
