New Ways Forward in Teacher Education

Programme Highlights
- Targeting serving teachers, principals or administrative professionals in schools or other education-related settings; the part-time MEd programme gives participants the flexibility to complete their studies in one to four years.

- The 30 credit points programme is strongly built upon core modules, elective modules and a comprehensive range of specialisations designed to address participants* individual needs and choices.

- The programme can be pursued either via the specialist route or generalist route.

- Participants of the specialist route can opt for one of the above ten specialisations. For those with a broad interest in education, they may opt for the generalist route by completing core modules and any other categories of modules.

- One special feature of the programme is its use of Chinese as the main medium of instruction, except for the specialisation of English Language Education. The arrangement facilitates the participants to connect what they will learn in the MEd classes with their work in the schools; which helps further enhance the quality of their coursework and research efforts.

- The programme tuition fee is HK$69,000.
