Quality of Graduates Testified by Positive Perception and High Employment

Percentage of Graduates being Employed or Pursuing Further Studies

With regards to the first cohort of 64 graduates of the language education degree who responded to the survey, all except one, who pursued further studies, succeeded in obtaining employment. Among them, many had several teaching offers in early summer 2005. In spite of the negative news of school closure, owing to the declining population of school-age children, the 2005 graduates in the primary education sector attained a remarkable employment rate of 98.6%.

Satisfaction Level

The Graduate Employment Survey of the past three years, consistently shows that school principals have high satisfaction with the performance of the HKIEd graduates they employed, particularly in regard to their work attitudes, subject knowledge and working relations with students and colleagues.
