Quality of Graduates Testified by Positive Perception and High Employment

High Employment

The Institute carries out an annual survey on the employment situation of its graduates. In the latest annual Graduate Employment Survey conducted by HKIEd's Centre for Institutional Research and Development (CIRD) on the 2005 graduates of all full-time pre-service programmes, a total of 837 fresh graduates responded, as of January 2006, representing a response rate of 94.7%.

Employment Rate

Results, as reflected in the survey, were most encouraging, indicating that HKIEd graduates continued to fare extremely well in the education employment market. Among the 2005 graduates, 98.3% have secured employment or are pursuing further studies. Only around 1% were still searching for jobs at the time of survey.
