(4) Extending our global horizons
To achieve the goal, the Institute will:-
  - build on our strong commitment to provide international experiences that will broaden the global horizons of the Institute community on and off campus; and
  - continue to provide leadership in a number of strategic areas to serve the needs of schools and teachers; and
  - continue to diversify our student population and further strengthen our well-established links with partner institutions overseas, so that our students and our scholarship will gain a global perspective, learning from and sharing in the diversity and experiences of our counterparts around the world.
If we are to be successful, we recognise that staff, students and alumni will need to have a strong sense of ownership and commitment to these objectives. The Institute therefore pledges to work collegially on a united front to realise our vision and mission in the six year ahead.
