We Cherish Every Dollar You Donated

Dr Vivian Heung,
Head, Centre for Special Needs and Studies in Inclusive Education

I have not thought about a grand reason for making a donation
to the Institute.
I just know that I am part of it! It is the place that will nurture
the future.
Here, there is passion for education.

I also know that solidarity, in times of hardships, restores faith.
I ask myself how much I can do? I am comforted by the thought that even small flowers can bloom.

Is there one single maxim that could ruin the Institute?
Unless we do not believe in what we do, the Institute cannot be ruined.
I think we must make the most of chances.
I wish that it will grow!

(Dr Heung donates on her own $120,000 to HKIEd)

Dickei Kwan,
HKIEd graduate of 2005 and now a teacher

" With the unconditional love, patience and care of the teaching staff, I've been subtly transformed from a dependent student to an independent learner. Since I've received so much from HKIEd, I'd like to show my gratitude by donating $10,000 to the Institute which I consider my second home."
Dickei Kwan's love for her "second home" — HKIEd
is well-echoed by her mother.
