We met Pun on his wheels!
In June, the Alumni Affairs Secretariat received encouraging news from Pun, an alumnus whose development the HKIEd community has taken to heart. Before setting off from the campus on 22 June, Ms Katherine Ma, Director of Communications and Institutional Advancement and her team were anxious to see how Pun might have progressed since their last visit.

Upon arrival at the hospital, occupational therapist Edward was preparing Pun for a ride on a state-of-the-art wheel chair. Pun started steering with a smile brimming in confidence. He mastered the feat of touring around the ward on the wheelchair with much dexterity. Guess what, he even showed us how to manoeuvre sideways and backwards! Pun impressed us not only with his progress, but also his enthusiasm and determination to overcome hardship.

After watching Pun's ride with amazement, Ms Katherine Ma read the personal well-wishing note from Professor Morris, and extended to Pun an invitation to pay the campus a visit. The rather "flushed" alumnus accepted our "date" gracefully.
3-3-4 Education Reform Best wishes Paul Morris, President I hope the latest technology you have been provided with will open up new horizons for you and allow you to continue to demonstrate the strength of the human spirit. You will continue to serve as an example to all of us. Dear Pun, Encouraging News from Pun
