A 3-dimensional evaluation on Junior Teacher Support Scheme
Tang Mei-wan, a Form 3 class participant, said, "The student teachers from HKIEd are really nice and warm. The classes have benefited me in all ways. In particular, I have improved my writing and speaking skills. I like the teaching approach; they have tried to make the lessons interactive and lively. For example, the atmosphere in class is enlivened with debates, poetry and book reading etc. I have finished reading the recommended booklist which includes The Old Man and the Sea", she said.

Similar thoughts were expressed by Chow Yin-ling, a Form 2 class participant, who said, "I have improved my writing skills and have been corrected in the common misuse of communicative expressions in writing. The methods the student teachers employed are a novel experience for me; they gave me clues on how to express myself creatively in writing."

Leung Ka-ying, a Year 2 student of HKIEd Bachelor of Education (Languages) Programme explained, "Hui Wing-hang and I were partners in the 14-week teaching programme at the CCC HFT College. This 'real-life' exposure to a classroom environment has strengthened us in all ways as prospective teachers. Indeed, it was not only a teaching experience, but also an inspiring learning adventure for us".
