Philanthropist, Dr Fong Yun-wah, has supported a number of meaningful HKIEd projects. To commemorate his contribution, we are honoured to name our largest computer centre the "Shu Wah Computer Centre".

At the naming ceremony, held on 10 December 2004, Dr Fong commended the Institute's significant contributions to teacher education.

The Croucher Foundation generously supports science teacher education at the Institute. Dr Alice Lam, Foundation Trustee, officiated at the naming ceremony for "The Croucher Science Laboratory" on 19 October 2004, and visited the Laboratory, where students introduced the learning facilities to her.
