Enlightened by teachers in pursuit of excellence
During their secondary school days, Ruby Tai and Semi Sin were not particularly outstanding in sports. However through the caring guidance of good PE teachers, not only did they develop a liking for the subject, but also a determination to emulate their much loved teachers. After petite Semi was appointed leader of the gymnastic team, she gradually built up confidence. Ruby also feels greatly indebted to her teacher for the care, encouragement and support she received. Enlightened by the role models their teachers provided, the chance of entering HKIEd in the first batch of Bachelor of Education (Honours) (Secondary) students in 2000 brought them closer to their goals.
