From May 12th to 14th, 2025, a group of undergraduate students, led by Dr. Cheng Tak Lai, embarked on an enlightening study tour to Guangzhou, themed "Values and Moral Education in the Greater Bay Area."
The journey commenced with visits to several esteemed educational institutions, including Guangzhou Foreign Language School（廣州外國語學校）, Guangzhou Secondary School of Labor and Technology（廣州市中學生勞動技術學校）, and South China Normal University（華南師範大學）. Additionally, students participated in local courses such as farming and outdoor cooking activities. These hands-on sessions enabled them to recognize and appreciate how values education can be practically applied in everyday life.
The study tour concluded with a visit to Canton Tower, the tallest sightseeing tower in China and the third tallest in the world. At this magnificent landmark, students not only marveled at the rapid development of the Greater Bay Area but also took the opportunity to reflect on and share their experiences from the trip.
Overall, the trip was an unforgettable and profound learning experience for all participants. Exposure to diverse educational practices offered students new perspectives and invaluable insights, making it a memorable chapter in their lifelong learning journey.
