About the Conference

Aims

Chinese language education in Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore and other places are undergoing continuous reforms. Also, there are remarkable development on the research on Chinese language education research in terms of curriculum settings, teaching materials and pedagogies, as well as language testing and teacher development. The Education Bureau of Hong Kong has recently strengthened the promotion of Chinese classics, literature, and cultural teaching, marking a new direction for Chinese language education. In recent years, the Greater Bay Area has developed vigorously, and so has education. This conference will cover the above different areas and regions, so as to gather experts from all walks of life, to exchange results of teaching and research, and to open up new directions for Chinese language research, and promote the sustainable development of Chinese language education in various regions.
