Aim

The purposes of this research are:

  • To construct and develop policy theory that will enable a better understanding of curriculum implementation processes;
  • To investigate how policy implementation processes are conceptualized and activated from both centralized and local perspectives using this new theoretical framework;
  • To highlight issues of Chinese culture that might influence both centralized and local policy implementation processes.
