Swire Summer Internship Programme 2024
The Swire Summer Internship Programme offers eight weeks of internships for intellectually curious, adaptable, and business minded penultimate year students who want to join the Swire Management Programme after graduation. Interns will have the opportunity to lead and implement a business-related project.

CLP Power Hong Kong Limited offers summer internships and sandwich internships (12 months) for university students with bachelor or advanced degree. Interns will work on a specific project from various scopes.

2024 HKEX Summer Internship Programme *Applications Closed
2024 HKEX Part Time Internship Programme *Applications Closed
HKEX offers two internship programmes, available to different levels of students’ experience. Both programmes offer interns an unique experience in global markets, with the opportunity to learn, develop new skills, take on direct responsibility for work and projects, and be part of a fun and ambitious team right at the heart of global markets.
Divisions

Eligibility
Applicants have to meet the following criteria:
Summer Internship: Penultimate year students (graduating in between Sept 2024 to July 2025) from any degree discipline
Part Time Internship: Non penultimate year (Year 1, Year 2 and Year 4) students from any degree discipline who are physically in Hong Kong

Be on track for a minimum 3.5 GPA; 2:1 Honours or equivalent

Demonstrate commercial awareness and interest in global financial markets

Possess strong sense of ownership, excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills

Open-minded to embrace new challenges, able to learn and adapt quickly

Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and work well as a team
Internship Period
Summer Internship:

The programme kicks-off in July 2024 and continues until August 2024.

The maximum employment period for each intern is 2 months
Part Time Internship:

The programme kicks-off from January 2024 and continues until May 2024.

There could be flexible working arrangement depending on your academic schedule

Summer and Winter Internship Programme
The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) offers a four to eight-week internship with valuable insight into the day-to-day operation of the SFC. Interns are responsible for assisting in the daily tasks and projects as assigned and providing support through conducting basic research, compiling reports, filing documents, updating systems, and other drafting work.
Eligibility
Applicants have to meet the following criteria:

Undergraduates, preferably in their penultimate year of study, majoring in Law, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, or Information Technology.

Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Possess a strong sense of responsibility and impeccable integrity.

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.

Proficient in PC applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
For the Winter Internship, please submit your application online on or before 29 September 2023.

Youth Start-up Internship Programme
The Government partners with the Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited (Cyberport) and Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) to launch the Youth Start-up Internship Programme 2023, offering 200 internship positions in total across various disciplines, such as data analysis, software engineering, marketing, design, and business development.
Eligibility
Applicants have to meet the following criteria:

Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card holder aged between 18 and 30;

Full-time student from a local post-secondary or tertiary institution (including students of sub-degree, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes);

Currently not a beneficiary under any publicly funded internship programme

Sustainable Finance Internship Initiative (Green and Sustainable Finance)
The Sustainable Finance Internship Initiative was launched by the Green and Sustainable Finance Cross-Agency Steering Group (CASG) in October 2022, creating local internship opportunities and conducting training sessions to deepen interns' and university students' understanding of sustainable finance.
