Swire Summer Internship Programme 2024

The Swire Summer Internship Programme offers eight weeks of internships for intellectually curious, adaptable, and business minded penultimate year students who want to join the Swire Management Programme after graduation. Interns will have the opportunity to lead and implement a business-related project. 

Features 

• Interns will have the opportunity to meet and network with stakeholders from across the Swire businesses and learn from their experience in business
• Interns will be paired with a Swire Management Programme buddy and actively support by the line manager 
• Interns will have the opportunity to pitch a business idea to senior management
• Interns will be given the responsibility and autonomy to plan, drive, execute and conclude your project

Eligibility

Individual placement may have specific requirements.

2 July to 23 August 2024 (Interns' final presentations will be scheduled during the week of 26 August)

CLP Internship Programme 2024

CLP Power Hong Kong Limited offers summer internships and sandwich internships (12 months) for university students with bachelor or advanced degree. Interns will work on a specific project from various scopes.  

• Summer internshis: Business; Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal, Nuclear Power, Public Affairs, Sustainability, Technology Research

Eligibility

Applicants have to meet the following criteria:

• Be a university student of bachelor or advanced degree
• Continue your full-time university course after the internship
• Be available full-time during the internship period
• Provide university endorsement that the internship is part of your curriculum
• Have good academic results

Internship Period

• Summer internships: from Jun to Aug
• Sandwich internships (12-month):  1 year from Jun or Jul

2024 HKEX Summer Internship Programme  *Applications Closed

2024 HKEX Part Time Internship Programme *Applications Closed

HKEX offers two internship programmes, available to different levels of students’ experience. Both programmes offer interns an unique experience in global markets, with the opportunity to learn, develop new skills, take on direct responsibility for work and projects, and be part of a fun and ambitious team right at the heart of global markets.  

• Corporate Communications, Equities, Emerging Business & Fixed Income and Currencies, Finance, Group Strategy, Human Resources, Internal Audit, Listing, Operations, Risk Management & Compliance

Eligibility

Applicants have to meet the following criteria:

Summer Internship: Penultimate year students (graduating in between Sept 2024 to July 2025) from any degree discipline

Part Time Internship: Non penultimate year (Year 1, Year 2 and Year 4) students from any degree discipline who are physically in Hong Kong

• Be on track for a minimum 3.5 GPA; 2:1 Honours or equivalent
• Demonstrate commercial awareness and interest in global financial markets
• Possess strong sense of ownership, excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Open-minded to embrace new challenges, able to learn and adapt quickly
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and work well as a team

Internship Period

Summer Internship:

• The programme kicks-off in July 2024 and continues until August 2024.
• The maximum employment period for each intern is 2 months

• The programme kicks-off from January 2024 and continues until May 2024.
• There could be flexible working arrangement depending on your academic schedule

Summer and Winter Internship Programme

The Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) offers a four to eight-week internship with valuable insight into the day-to-day operation of the SFC. Interns are responsible for assisting in the daily tasks and projects as assigned and providing support through conducting basic research, compiling reports, filing documents, updating systems, and other drafting work.

Eligibility

Applicants have to meet the following criteria:

• Undergraduates, preferably in their penultimate year of study, majoring in Law, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, or Information Technology.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Possess a strong sense of responsibility and impeccable integrity.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Proficient in PC applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

For the Winter Internship, please submit your application online on or before 29 September 2023.
