1st FLAN Outcome Based Learning Sharing Seminar

The Sharing Seminar was the first event organized by the FLAN OBL team with the aim to provide a platform for tutors from both Chinese and English Departments to share their experiences and insights of OBL in piloting their courses in 2009-2010 with FLAN colleagues. In this seminar, eight collegues were invited to share with our colleagues. They were Dr Cheung Sau Hung, Dr Ho Chi Hang, Dr Lee How Chung, Dr Leung Pui Wan Pamela & Dr Wong Leung Wo from the Chinese Department and Dr Wendy Lam, Dr Wang Lixun & Dr Marc Xu from the English Department.

On 22 September 2010, 25 colleagues participated in the seminar. The sharing seminar was fruitful because the colleagues were willing to share their valuable experiences and insights and there were good responses and interactions among the participants. We also learnt from the evaluation data analysis that all participants agreed that they could achieve the Learning Outcomes of the Seminar and they were expecting future related activities organized by FLAN.
