Synopsis

On 20 May 2026, FEHD organised an online sharing session focused on maximising the impact of teaching assistant (TA) partnerships in large classes. Delivered by Dr Ricci Fong, the session addressed the increasingly vital role TAs play in supporting student learning within today's fast-changing educational landscape. Drawing on her years of collaboration with various TAs and part-time instructors, Dr Fong highlighted key challenges and considerations from a faculty perspective. By offering practical strategies for strengthening teamwork and boosting teaching effectiveness, the event provided colleagues with a valuable platform for professional exchange and pedagogical reflection.
