Synopsis

On 27 May, 2025, FEHD invited Dr Alex Shum from the University of Hong Kong to offer insights into enhancing student engagement in large classes. Drawing on his extensive teaching experience, Dr Shum discussed innovative and practical approaches to motivate students and create a dynamic and engaging environment to support students’ learning. The session aimed to inspire educators to rethink pedagogical strategies and provided a forum for discussing classroom engagement.
