Recently, the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Executive Management Programme [BSc(EM)] partnered with CityLinkers Group Limited, a prestigious corporate finance consultancy, to offer non-credit-bearing for students in May 2025. This initiative underscores our commitment to bridging academic theory with professional practice, providing students with authentic learning opportunities that extend beyond the traditional classroom.
From 2 to 23 May 2025, BSc (EM) students immersed themselves in the dynamic working environment of CityLinkers Group Limited. This internship delivered significant and tangible learning outcomes crucial for their future careers. Students could translate their academic learning into real-world scenarios, accumulating firsthand experience in the workplace. Furthermore, the internship fostered the development of essential skills such as social interaction, collaboration, and problem-solving, which are crucial for effective executive management. Another highlight was the valuable opportunity to participate in client meetings guided by knowledgeable mentors. Discussing projects directly with clients not only broadened students' understanding of different industries but also significantly boosted their confidence and communication skills in a professional setting.
