Dr Jason Lin attended the British Educational Research Association (BERA) Annual Conference 2025, held from 9–11 September at the University of Sussex. He contributed to a symposium session on “Teaching Controversial Issues During Challenging Political Times”, together with Dr Helen Hanna (University of Manchester) and Anton Abdul Fatah (KU Leuven University). Participants of the session discussed how researchers and educators can better address controversial topics and foster reflective and thoughtful dialogue in education.
