Dr. Trevor Lee wrote an article to HKEJ concerning the social side of online learning challenges confronting primary school teachers, pupils, and families during the pandemic. The "social side" referred to in the article concerns the culture of parental engagement, interpersonal relationships between teacher and student, home and school, peers, etc., home environment, learning routines, schoolchildren's mental and physical health, and other broader social problems. The article reports some major findings of Trevor’s latest research funded under the Public Policy Research (PPR) Funding Scheme.
