Through a series of leadership and AI training programmes, a group of proactive housewives led some SEN schoolchildren to learn with GenAI in their STEAM lessons, organized by an NGO entitled ‘ICT-in-Physical Education Foundation’ and Dr. Percy Kwok in the EPL Department at the Education University of Hong Kong. A synergistic model of distributed, emotional, and transformative leadership was exercised by those housewives through learner-centered instruction and caring support to foster students’ GenAI literacy and to apply AI animation techniques to enhance their aesthetic creation and appreciation, which are not easily found in traditional lessons. In return, participating housewives help establish their pedagogical knowledge, develop AI competency, and apply their digital leadership skills in the STEAM activities.
