On 10 June 2026 (Wednesday), Dr. Cheng Tak Lai was invited as the speaker for the staff development day of the Division of Communication at the College of International Education, HKBU. Drawing on his extensive expertise in professional and vocational education, Dr. Cheng delivered a session on Work-Based Learning (WBL) pedagogy and curriculum design. He shared practical insights ranging from education policy development to curriculum planning, equipping teaching staff to prepare for emerging opportunities and challenges in higher education today. Following his presentation, the session included active discussion and in-depth interaction with participating teaching teams.
