On June 23, 2017, under the sponsorship of the Commission on Youth, the "Wuzhou and Hong Kong Hand in Hand: Inclusive Education Program" was organized by the Talent Reveal Association. Ms. Kong Jianmin, Section Chief of the Wuzhou Education Science Research Institute (WESRI), led 65 officials and teachers of special education to visit The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK). Dr. Poon Chung Yee, Assistant Project Manager of Centre for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education (CSENIE) addressed a welcoming speech to the visitors and introduced the missions and work of the CSENIE in the seminar. Dr. Ji Mingxia and Ms. Lee Shuk Kuen, from Graduate School, explained the application procedures of coming to the EdUHK for postgraduate studies from Mainland so that the participants who are interested in furthering their studies in the EdUHK in the future can receive useful information. Ms Luan Xinchang, the EdUHK PhD candidate, also shared her campus life and introduced the facilities of the university. The event has enhanced the educational exchanges between the two places and provided an excellent informational platform for those in Mainland who wish to study in the EdUHK in the future.
