On June 5, 2017, Mr. Tse Hing Sang, the principal of Hong Kong Rhenish Church Grace School; Ran Hongyu, the chairman of Dongguan Disabled Persons Federation; and 8 other officials, principals and special education teachers from Dongguan Rehabilitation Experimental School visited The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK). Prof. SIN Kuen Fung, Kenneth, director of Centre for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education (CSENIE) addressed a welcoming speech to the visitors and introduced the missions and work of CSENIE in the seminar. Dr. Poon Chung Yee, Assistant Project Manager of CSENIE, talked about the projects of special education in mainland. Besides, participants had lunch at hc:Café in the Headquarters of Hong Chi Association to experience the working atmosphere of trainees with intellectual disorder. The event has enhanced the exchanges of special education between the two places.
