This seminar aims at addressing some of the interesting questions with specific reference to education, against a broad background that extends all the way from S & T at one end through socioeconomics and sustainability to core moral principles.

Professor Dr. G. Venkataraman worked as a scientist between 1955 – 1973 and became the Director of Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research in 1973.  At the instance of the Defence Research & Development Organisation he founded the Advanced Numerical Analysis and Research Group in 1987 where he served until 1992, when he retired. He was Honorary Professor at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning (Deemed University), and has served as its Vice Chancellor.
