The topic of the seminar is ‘Worlds Apart or Sailing A Similar Course? Higher Education Reform in England and Germany in Comparative Perspective’. The seminar presentation will be on 2 April, 2012, from 12:30 to 2:00 pm at D2-G/F-01, HKIEd Tai Po campus.

The HKIEd President, Prof. Cheung Bing Leung Anthony will give an opening speech for the launch, and will introduce the topic of the seminar. At the seminar, Dr. Hubert Ertl, University Lecturer in Higher Education in the Department of Education, University of Oxford, and Director of the Department’s MSc Education (Higher Education) programme, will analyze and compare recent and current reforms in the higher education sector in England with Germany, and discuss their relevance for Hong Kong and China.
