Referenced Language Exit Requirements
for Senior-Year (SY) Students
Full-time University Grants Committee (UGC)-funded Senior-Year (SY) undergraduate students are not required to meet the Putonghua Language Exit Requirement (LER). SY students admitted in 2024/25 or before are also not required to meet the English LER. Their participation in PSC/IELTS/TOEFL is optional. If these students take the PSC/IELTS/TOEFL after being admitted into EdUHK and their scores reach the referenced Putonghua/English LER for their programme, they may apply for the one-off sponsorship provided by the University (Note 1).
