What is the Online English Café?

The Online English Café is an alternative to the English Café that you already know, run by the international tutors of EdUHK. You will be able to practice English in a relaxed and fun environment from the comfort of your own room.

What to do?

For a better experience, the topics for the Online English Café will be provided beforehand so students can choose which session to attend to.

How to participate?

✓ Click on the zoom link provided for each session.

✓ Make sure to join on time! Students will only be let in at the beginning of the session and half-way. Students who do not join on time will have to wait in the waiting room.

✓ Students can choose to leave after 30 minutes or stay until the end of the session.

✓ Due to the online format of the English Café, only 6 students will be allowed in each session.

✓ Before leaving, complete the feedback form!

Why join the Online English Café?

Students who join three sessions in one month can claim a small gift as a reward (this reward is only offered once).

Students who participate in the English Café more than 6 times throughout the year will be qualified to join a lucky draw! Three winners will be randomly chosen by the end of the second semester

When and where to go?

*The tutor has the right to ask a student to leave the room if his/her behaviour and language are considered as inappropriate.
