Human beings and other created creatures are all the same by nature (living creatures) but mankind was created in God’s own image to fill the earth and subdue it. Man had to make choices while carrying out the duties. Therefore, The rule to forbid man to eat from “The tree of the knowledge of good and evil” can be considered as a training for man to carry out such duties. However, man neglected all the other trees that were also “good for food” and violated the rule. He even invented excuses for his own disobedience. In consequence, the serpent, man and the earth were cursed. Is this training too harsh for man? During the Q&A session, there was a lively discussion on this issue.
