Abstract
This paper provides a summary of experience gained from a Science Day activity for primary four students. The activity was one of the initiatives of the "Schools Around the World" project working in collaboration with a local primary school. Students were to learn some interesting additional topics on the unit of "Electricity and Living". The paper describes the process of implementing science day; the considerations for designing and conducting science day; and the problems that the teachers encountered in the process. The paper also included some suggested teaching materials, such as student guidelines, teachers' notes and worksheets of the experiments. The paper concludes with the views of the project team for future development of similar activities.
