Abstract:

This paper reports the conception and structure of the development of cross-disciplinary curriculum in Guangzhou primary schools. It explains the characteristics, describes the objectives, and outlines the major components of the developed curriculum. It also discusses the preferred teaching model, crucial factors, teaching principles, assessment, and leadership that underlie the success of the programme.
