Sciences Email: xychens@hotmail.com Received 23 June, 2002 Abstract Ecological knowledge is helpful in harmonizing the relationship between human activities and environmental protection, especially in the Western China Development. Ecological laboratory plays a critical role in the course of ecology. It, however, has some shortcomings at present, for example, there is a lack of creativity training. The author reports an innovative teaching strategy in ecological laboratory, which has been carried out for two years, and aimed to promote creativity among students.
