According to created general structure of physics teaching, we proposed to use the learning models for explanation of physical phenomena, concepts, laws and theories. The examples of material and thought models have been demonstrated. The requirements for material models have been identified. The method of creation of thought models with using Easy Gif Animator has been discussed. The general scheme for the use of learning models in physics teaching has been proposed. The present study applies quasi-experimental design, and discusses on the basis of the hypothesis: the use of learning models in physics teaching will improve the students' understanding of educational material.
