The function module design of virtual experimental study platform

Abstract

This paper reports the design of the function module for a study platform according to the biggest features, autonomy, of learners learning in virtual experiments. Experiment center modules in this platform are divided into the inquiry experiment center and verification/application experiment center as based on different types of experiments. Then we describe the details of the function modules for these two centers with an aim to provide a reference standard for designing function modules.
