Connections between airport and HKIEd

Take a taxi to HKIEd directly (approx. HKD$350-HKD$400), or take KMB bus no. E41 to Tai Po Central Bus Terminus and then change to KMB bus service Route no. 74K (details)

 Connections between airport and the hotels

  • Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Shatin: Take a taxi to the hotel directly (approx. HKF$280-HKD$330); or take the MTR Airport Express train to Tsing Yi MTR Station (HKD$60) and take taxi to the hotel (approx. HKD$ 130), or take KMB bus service Route no. A41 to New Town Plaza in ShaTin and take taxi to the hotel  (approx. HKD$ 80).

You can take the conference shuttle bus or you can choose alternative ways to go to HKIEd.

Public Transportation Information

 Taxi

Three types of taxis travel the different areas in Hong Kong.

Urban taxis (red color)operate throughout Hong Kong, including HK International Airport and Hong Kong Disneyland (except Tung Chung Road and roads in South Lantau). NT taxis (green color) travel within the area of the New Territories only, except for some specific locations. Lantau taxis (blue color) travel within the areas of Lantau Island only. The fares of Lantau Taxis are the cheapest, the fares of NT Taxis are costlier than the Lantau Taxis, and the fares of urban taxis are the most expensive.
